Pie dough

“What to do with the leftovers? Well, here’s what I do: I make a simple pie dough and put it in a 9-inch pie tin. Then I get a pot and put all of the cooked leftovers in it — and that means everything: meat, vegetables, gravy, and even the stuffing. I mix it together and warm it, then I fill the pie shell with the mixture. I even put some of the cranberry sauce right in the middle. Then I freeze the resulting pie. In a few weeks, when I break it out of the freezer and bake it, we have Thanksgiving all over again! You’d be surprised at how good it tastes when it’s done. A Thanksgiving that keeps on giving!”
