Fruit is a perfect "kid food": beautiful, sweet, delicious AND healthy!

Kids tend to eat the same fruit over and over, which is why it's important to choose organic fruit when possible. Children’s developing bodies are especially vulnerable to environmental toxins, like the pesticide residues found on many conventional fruits. It's also a great idea to expose your kids to as many different kinds of produce as possible.

This delicious dip has only 3 ingredients, and kids of just about any age can make it themselves. It goes well with every fruit, from apples to apricots, grapes to guavas, strawberries to star fruit. And when fruit isn't at its absolute best (a less-than-sweet peach or a slightly soft apple, for example), the dip helps conceal the imperfections and ensure it's still a delicious treat!

  • Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup organic plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/8 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • Directions

  • Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and serve.
