Gingered Carrot Apple Juice

If you like to drink chilled, freshly squeezed juices, refrigerate the carrots and apples before placing them in your juice extractor. The ginger gives a nice zing to this sweet combination of carrots and apples.

2 Servings

1 lb

carrots (washed and stemmed)

organic apples

3-inch piece of fresh ginger (peeled)

Cut the carrots into 2-inch lengths, and the apples into quarters or eighths, depending on the size of your juicer's feed tube.

Feed the carrots, apples and ginger through your extractor. Stir or shake to blend the juice.
