Mango and Avocado Salsa

Most cooks have at least one salsa recipe, but all of us can always use another in our repertoire — especially one as luscious as this!

Here creamy avocado and sweet mango get a kick from jalapeño, chili powder and fresh lime juice. With its distinctive blend of hot, sweet, salty and sour, this salsa is a terrific accompaniment to grilled chicken or fish.

ripe Earthbound Farm Organic Mango (peeled, pitted, and cut into 1/3-inch dice)


ripe Earthbound Farm Organic Avocado (peeled, pitted and cut into 1/3-inch dice)


jalapeño pepper (finely minced, or to taste)

¼ cup

thinly sliced Earthbound Farm Organic Green Onions

chili powder (to taste)

salt (to taste)

Juice of 1 lime


Place the mango, avocado, jalapeño and green onions in a medium bowl. Sprinkle the ingredients with chili powder and salt to taste. Add the lime juice and gently toss to combine. The salsa can sit at room temperature for 1 hour before serving. For best flavor, don't refrigerate.
