Raspberry-Banana Yogurt Smoothie

Fruit smoothies pack a triple punch: they quench your thirst, satisfy your hunger and fill your body with nutrients.

If you keep milk and yogurt in your fridge and Earthbound Farm organic berries in your freezer, you’ve got the makings of a delightfully nutritious meal or snack any time of day. And when you use partially defrosted berries, you don’t even need ice!

It's easy to make a vegan/nondairy version: simply substitute your favorite nondairy beverage and nondairy yogurt...and enjoy!

1 package

Earthbound Farm Organic Frozen Red Raspberries (10 oz)

¾ cup

whole, lowfat or nonfat milk (or your favorite nondairy beverage, or more to taste)

1 cup

lowfat or nonfat vanilla yogurt


ripe banana (chopped)


Put the unopened package of frozen raspberries into a bowl of hot water for 5 minutes to defrost slightly.

Place the milk, yogurt, berries and banana into a blender in order. Blend until smooth.

Healthy Additions: Add 1 to 2 tablespoons flax seed oil or 1 teaspoon (6 grams) of a high-quality organic berry green supplement.
