- Organic Bound
Poppy seed dressing is a natural partner to fruit and nuts, as this healthy salad demonstrates. Substitute iceberg or your favorite lettuce for the romaine, if you like.
|1/4 cup||plain yogurt|
|1 teaspoon||cider vinegar|
|grated zest of 1 lime|
|1 tablespoon||fresh lime juice|
|2 teaspoons||Poppy seeds|
|12 ounces||Earthbound Farm Organic Hearts of Romaine, Fancy Romaine Salad, or Washed Romaine Heart leaves|
|1/2 cup||toasted walnuts|
|1/3 cup||Earthbound Farm Organic Raisins|
Whisk together the dressing ingredients in a small bowl.
Place the romaine in a large bowl and toss with the apples, walnuts, and raisins.
Add the poppy seed dressing and toss to combine. Divide between 4 plates and serve immediately.
